Position SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Service Technician to perform routine installation on a wide range of low-voltage systems. This role requires a highly skilled technician who can troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning equipment with minimal supervision while delivering exceptional customer service. The ideal applicant will also assist in training junior technicians and supporting field operations.
Key Responsibilities- Perform installation for commercial low-voltage systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace malfunctioning or inoperative security, CCTV, access control, fire, and intrusion systems.
- Provide high-quality customer service and clear instruction on system operation and functionality.
- Conduct system testing, signal verification, and detailed service documentation.
- Maintain appropriate truck stock, tools, and equipment for efficient field performance.
- Organize technical resources and coordinate with support teams to complete tasks effectively.
- Ensure progress and completion of all assigned work according to company standards.
- Accurately log service activities, hours worked, materials used, and project details.
- Complete additional projects or assignments as required.
Minimum Qualifications- High School Diploma or Vocational Training required.
- 3+ years of experience working with commercial low-voltage systems.
- Mastery in troubleshooting:
- Commercial intrusion systems
- CCTV
- Intercom
- Access control
- Fire systems experience is a strong plus
- Knowledge of local and national electrical codes.
- Proficiency with test equipment such as multimeters, battery analyzers, and decibel meters.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screening.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and reliability.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pelham, AL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
