Role: SAP GTS Consultant – Cloud Based

Travel: May need to travel to Mexico City as needed
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced SAP GTS Consultant to guide business stakeholders through the design and functional implementation of SAP Global Trade Services (SAP GTS, edition for SAP HANA) to enable compliant, efficient, and automated cross-border trade operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate trade compliance and customs requirements into scalable SAP GTS process designs.
- Work on Sanctioned Party Screening (SPL), embargo/legal controls, license determination and usage.
- Handle product classification (HS/HTS/Export Control) and preference determination.
- Support import/export customs management processes.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and define end-to-end process flows across Order-to-Cash (O2C) and Procure-to-Pay (P2P).
- Configure GTS objects, including:
- Legal Regulations
- Control Classes
- Business Partners
- Document Types
- SPL Screening
- License Procedures
- Determination Strategies
- Ensure integration with S/4HANA SD/MM, EWM/TM, and external customs brokers/content providers.
- Drive Unit Testing, SIT, and UAT strategies.
- Support data migration for:
- Business Partner / Ship-to Data
- Product Classifications
- Licenses
- Preferences
- Provide user training and enablement.
- Implement controls for auditability, recordkeeping, electronic archives, and dual-use controls.
- Help deliver measurable improvements in trade compliance and risk reduction.
