Role Overview
We are seeking a Full Stack Developer for a contract position. This role involves designing and building horizontally scalable components for a major platform. The ideal candidate will be a key contributor to the core platform, focused on writing reusable, extendable, and simplified code while mentoring other developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and build horizontally scalable components.
- Review code and provide feedback on best practices, performance, and stability.
- Become a subject matter expert on the platform's codebase and mentor other developers.
- Write reusable and extendable code as a key contributor to the core platform.
- Develop solutions for interactive web-based applications.
- Follow the agile software development process, including daily stand-ups and grooming sessions.
- Build distributed, scalable complex services and robust microservices.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 6 years of experience in Angular and Java/J2EE is required.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and OpenShift cloud technologies.
- Expertise in functional and object-oriented programming.
- Experience with databases, including relational and NoSQL.
- Strong understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of AMPS, WebSockets, and Spark.
Compensation & Benefits
A compensation range of $63.00/hour to $68.26/hour is offered for this position.
