Basic QualificationsEducation Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, or related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field, plus a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree, plus 6 years relevant experience.
Clearance Requirements:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this PositionROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:As a senior staff software engineer, you'll be a member of a cross functional team responsible for the next generation of embedded system security.
Due to the nature of the work, the candidate must possess a current Department of Defense security clearance of Secret or above.We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:- Knowledge of C in embedded environments
- Experience with model-based systems engineering (MBSE)
- Extensive knowledge with network protocols

- Communication buses: SPI/QSPI, UART, I2C
- JTAG - remote debug
- PTP
- Experience with developing against/within an FPGA
- Polarfire, Versal, Kintex Ultrascale
- MBSE/SySML
- Magic Draw Experience
- Software Design as part of an MBSE initiative
- Knowledge of GitLab
- Knowledge of Code coverage and static code analysis tools: Parasoft/CppCheck
- Network Protocols: RSTP, VLAN, PTP, etc
- Auto Negotiation / Link Training
- Anti-Tamper/Security
- Expertise in applying technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges
- Exceptional communication skills with the capacity to secure buy-in on concepts and ideas
- Collaborative team player eager to provide technical leadership and position others for success
