Full Stack Java Developer

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Java Developer to design, build, and deliver high-quality, scalable applications using Java on the backend and Angular on the frontend. This role requires strong technical depth across the full stack, a disciplined approach to architecture and design standards, and a focus on performance, security, and maintainability.
The ideal candidate is a senior-level engineer who thrives in enterprise environments and takes ownership of delivering reliable, production-ready software aligned with approved designs and engineering best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using Java (Spring / Spring Boot) and Angular
• Build and expose RESTful APIs and microservices that are scalable, secure, and performant
• Implement modern, responsive user interfaces using Angular, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS
• Ensure strict adherence to approved architecture, UI/UX designs, and engineering standards
• Translate functional and non-functional requirements into robust technical solutions
• Apply secure coding practices, authentication/authorization patterns, and common security standards
• Integrate applications with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and deployment workflows
• Work with relational and NoSQL databases, including schema design and performance optimization
• Conduct code reviews, enforce quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues across application layers
• Maintain a strong focus on code quality, performance, reliability, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience as a full-stack developer delivering enterprise-grade applications
• 7+ years of hands-on experience with Java, including Spring / Spring Boot
• 7+ years of experience building RESTful APIs and microservice-based systems
• 7+ years of experience developing modern frontend applications using Angular, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS
• Experience delivering solutions aligned with defined architecture, design standards, and best practices
• Experience working with cloud-native applications (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps-oriented delivery
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including performance tuning
• Strong understanding of secure development principles and common application security risks

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale or regulated enterprise environments
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
• Exposure to performance monitoring and observability tools
• Experience supporting applications in production environments

This is a Contract position based out of Chandler, AZ.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.06 - $65.06/hr.
