This is an opportunity to participate in a multifaceted and outstanding engineering group at one of the world's leading companies. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on highly technical topics related to some of Apple's latest products in power technology. In particular, the role includes participation in the design, simulation, testing and analysis of current and future wireless power products. The role requires broad knowledge of finite element analysis (FEA) modeling of the magnetic field as well as familiarity with common wireless power circuit architectures (inverter/rectifier/impedance matching networks). The candidate should have basic knowledge of the physics of magnetic materials, Maxwell's equations, transformer theory, circuit simulators and finite element analysis. This is a unique opportunity that will provide the candidate with real world experience in designing inductive power links with mass production intent. Candidates with a creative attitude and who are eager to undertake new challenges will find this role especially fulfilling.
