Summary
Role Summary:
- We are seeking an experienced Lead Enterprise Architect to provide strategic leadership for the Enterprise Architecture function.
- This role will lead Enterprise Architecture teams, establish governance frameworks, support enterprise modernization initiatives, and align architecture practices with cloud transformation and AI-enabled delivery.
Required Skills:
- 15+ years of Enterprise Architecture leadership experience
- Strong experience with Enterprise Architecture frameworks (TOGAF preferred; DoDAF, UAF, BEA, or equivalent frameworks are a plus)
- Experience designing, integrating, and modernizing large-scale enterprise systems within complex IT environments
- Strong experience with Cloud Architecture (AWS and/or Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture (NIST ZT)
- Experience designing Microservices and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)
- Experience applying AI-driven architecture practices to modernization and enterprise initiatives
- Strong executive communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills
- Proven ability to mentor Enterprise Architects and drive architectural best practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor Enterprise Architecture teams across multiple business domains.
- Define and implement Enterprise Architecture governance, standards, and engagement models.
- Establish architecture review processes and support enterprise-wide technical decision making.
- Drive enterprise modernization and digital transformation initiatives.
- Align Enterprise Architecture with cloud adoption and AI-enabled delivery strategies.
- Assess current architecture capabilities and recommend improvements to processes and governance.
- Partner with business and technology leaders to define enterprise technology roadmaps.
- Support Agile teams by providing architecture guidance and technical leadership.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with Federal, State, or Public Sector organizations
- Enterprise Architecture consulting experience
- Experience supporting IT modernization and transformation initiatives
- Bachelor''s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
