Summary

We are seeking an experienced IP Core & Transport Network Project Manager to lead the delivery of core IP and transport network initiatives within a large Canadian telecommunications environment.

This role focuses on wireline core infrastructure, including IP core routing platforms and optical transport networksthat support wireless, wireline, media, and enterprise services at national scale. The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end project delivery, coordinating across technical teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a strong project manager with core network domain exposure, capable of managing complex telecom infrastructure programs and facilitating technical discussions with engineering teams.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of Project Management experience delivering telecommunications infrastructure projects

  • Proven experience managing IP Core and/or Transport (Optical/DWDM) network initiatives

  • Familiarity with large-scale IP routing platforms such as Cisco ASR or Juniper MX

  • Experience working with optical transport networks and vendors such as Ciena or Nokia

  • Strong skills in project planning, risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder coordination

  • Ability to manage projects in large, complex telecom environments with multiple teams and vendors

  • Experience using project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or similar platforms
