Summary

We believe that mental health is just as important as physical health. We recognize that mental health issues can be complex and multifaceted, and we are dedicated to treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

We aim to create a world where mental health is no longer stigmatized or marginalized, but rather is embraced as an integral part of one's overall well-being.

We believe that by providing quality care that is both evidence-based and compassionate, we can empower individuals to take charge of their mental health and achieve their full potential. We are passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of those struggling with mental health issues and we strive to be a force for positive change in the field of mental healthcare.

Rula is a remote-first company. We currently hire in most U.S. states, with the exception of Hawaii.

About the Role

This role will be an analytical engine behind data-driven decision-making in one of Rula's Product pods. As an individual contributor, you will partner with senior leaders across Product, as well as teams in Data Engineering, Finance, Clinical, and Operations, to take ownership of generating insights and recommendations that shape strategy for product roadmap using data.

You will translate broad questions into actionable research and discovery plans, perform proactive data exploration to identify actionable insights, and communicate results in a compelling manner. You will model the impact of new features, determine success criteria, and drive experimentation to evaluate new launches. Your work will grow the platform by driving improvements to our provider experience, quality, and ability to balance our marketplace.

Required Qualifications
  • 7+ years of related professional experience in analytics or data science role, with 2+ years of experience focusing on product analytics
  • Deep understanding of product analytics metrics (e.g. conversion, churn, engagement, retention, LTV) and proficiency translating metrics into actionable insights
  • Strong experience working directly on A/B testing, including experiment design, deployment, and results interpretation
  • Advanced technical expertise with modern data stacks (i.e. dbt, Airflow, etc.) and data visualization tools (i.e. Looker, Tableau, Hex, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to work with non-technical cross-functional stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

While having the preferred qualifications enhances your candidacy, having all of them is not mandatory. We encourage all interested applicants to apply, even those who may not meet every preferred requirement.
  • Experience within a fast-paced, high-growth startup environment with the ability to handle dynamic analytical priorities
  • Prior experience in healthcare industry
  • A proven ability to connect analytics insights to business strategy, influencing product decisions that drive revenue and growth
  • Advanced proficiency with Python/R for analytics/scripting and working with event-based data

We're serious about your well-being! As part of our team, full-time employees receive:
  • 100% remote work environment: Working hours to support a healthy work-life balance, ensuring you can meet both professional and personal commitments (must be based in United States, currently not hiring in Hawaii)
