Manual Tester

We are seeking experienced Manual Testers to support a large scale application environment with strong focus on System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing. The ideal candidate will have hands on experience working in structured testing environments, managing defect lifecycle, and collaborating closely with Development and Business teams.

Key Responsibilities

Perform end to end manual testing activities
Create detailed test scenarios and test cases based on business and functional requirements
Optimize test cases for efficient execution cycles
Execute System Integration Testing and manage defect lifecycle
Log, track, and manage defects using ALM tools
Support UAT by reproducing defects in lower environments
Work closely with Development teams for triage and resolution
Coordinate with UAT teams and provide timely status updates
Write and execute database queries for validation
Work directly with Mainframe systems as part of testing activities

Required Skills

Strong experience in Manual Testing
Expertise in ALM tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps
Experience in System Integration Testing
Strong defect management experience
Hands on experience with Mainframe environments
Ability to write and execute SQL or other database queries
Strong analytical and communication skills

Preferred Skills

Experience working with State Government Benefit Management Systems
Exposure to Integrated Eligibility platforms
