Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI Project Manager for a hybrid position (3 days a week onsite) with a Global Financial Institution located in Iselin, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will provide hands-on project management support for strategic AI-enabled Communications Surveillance initiatives and related transformation efforts. The successful candidate will drive day-to-day execution across multiple workstreams, maintain governance and reporting routines, coordinate stakeholders, and ensure commitments are delivered on schedule. This role is responsible for bringing structure, accountability, and transparency to complex cross-functional initiatives involving Business, Compliance, Technology, Data Science, Operations, Risk, and Control partners.
Responsibilities: - Serve as the primary project management resource supporting the Head of Data and AI Program across AI initiatives and associated strategic priorities
- Develop and maintain integrated project plans, implementation schedules, milestone trackers, and delivery roadmaps
- Coordinate activities across multiple workstreams to ensure alignment against strategic objectives and delivery timelines
- Drive accountability for project commitments and follow up with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of deliverables
- Identify execution risks, bottlenecks, and dependencies and escalate issues appropriately
- Track and report project progress against established milestones and target dates
- Organize and facilitate project governance routines including working groups, leadership reviews, and status meetings
- Develop agendas and ensure meetings result in clear decisions, ownership, and next steps
- Capture detailed and accurate meeting minutes, decisions, risks, and action items
- Establish and maintain comprehensive RAID (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies) logs
- Prepare executive status reports, dashboards, presentations, and management updates
- Coordinate activities across Compliance, Technology, Data Science, Operations, Regulatory, Risk, and Business teams
- Maintain project documentation, governance artifacts, decision logs, action registers, and project repositories
Requirements: - 5+ years of Business Execution, Project Management, PMO, Strategic Planning, Implementation, or related experience
- Demonstrated experience leading or supporting large-scale cross-functional programs
- Experience managing multiple concurrent initiatives with competing priorities and deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Proven ability to drive accountability and follow through on commitments
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Desired skills: - 5+ years of project management experience within Financial Services, Compliance, Risk, Technology, Data, Surveillance, or Regulatory organizations
- Experience supporting complex enterprise transformation programs
- Demonstrated expertise maintaining project plans, milestone trackers, RAID logs, action registers, dependency maps, and governance documentation
- Strong meeting facilitation and stakeholder coordination skills
- Experience developing executive communications, status reports, and presentation materials
- Ability to manage deliverables independently with minimal supervision
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Compliance, Risk, Technology, Data Science, Operations, and Control partners
- Experience supporting AI, analytics, surveillance, regulatory, data, or technology initiatives
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Teams, SharePoint, and Outlook
- Experience with project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, Smartsheet, Tableau, or Power BI
- Ability to influence decision making, manage competing priorities, and drive execution in a highly matrixed environment
Pay range: $51.09 - $59.09 per hour
