Job Description

We are seeking an IT Application Consultant to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Microsoft sustainability technologies, data engineering on Microsoft Fabric and Power Platform, and a proven ability to maintain and enhance ESG reporting solutions while ensuring compliance, data governance, and reliable operations.

Responsibilities:

• Own and resolve data and metric calculation issues across Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM) and Environmental Resilience Analytics (ERA).


• Maintain dashboards and reports for internal and external stakeholders.


• Manage system interfaces and integrations, upstream and downstream.


• Support compliance with sustainability regulations and standards.


• Support ESG data analysis and insights generation.


• Maintain and update configurations in MSM, SDSF, and Microsoft Fabric.


• Apply updates and patches from Microsoft Git to MSM and related Power Platform applications.


• Oversee license management and renewals.


• Manage data ingestion, transformation, and storage pipelines in Fabric, including Lakehouse and Delta Lake.


• Implement and monitor security protocols and data governance controls in Power Platform and Fabric.


• Integrate systems and tools across the Microsoft sustainability technology stack.


• Optimize cloud resources and support uptime and backups in Power Platform Admin Center and Fabric Admin Portal.


• Lead change management for new data flows and notification systems.


• Maintain internal knowledge base and training materials.


• Manage backlog of feature enhancements and prioritize updates.


• Enhance methodologies, reporting templates, and dashboard visualizations.


• Re-run data jobs and upload remediated data as part of error handling and outside scheduled freeze dates when needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform, including Power BI, Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, and Fabric compute.


• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Azure SQL, Azure Blob Storage, and OneLake architecture.


• Familiarity with Microsoft Sustainability Manager (MSM), ArcGIS, and ESG data schemas.


• Strong understanding of data governance, compliance, and security protocols.


• Experience with cloud resource monitoring and optimization.


• Ability to analyze ESG data and generate actionable insights with automated reporting and dashboards.


• Knowledge of sustainability frameworks such as CSRD, TCFD, CDP, and ISSB.


• Experience managing data change in data collection and reporting processes with backlog prioritization.


• Strong documentation practices and knowledge base management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with ERA, SDSF, and Power Platform administration.


• Background in ESG reporting operations within regulated environments.
