Role Overview
We are seeking an accomplished Lead iOS Developer with 12+ years of overall software development experience and deep expertise in native iOS application development.
The ideal candidate will lead the design and development of secure, scalable, and high-performance enterprise mobile applications, drive architectural decisions, establish engineering best practices, and mentor development teams.
This role requires a strong hands-on technical leader with expertise in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C, along with proven capabilities in mobile architecture, backend integration, application security, and end-to-end delivery of enterprise-grade solutions.
Core Technical Requirements
- 12+ years of overall software development experience, with strong expertise in iOS application development.
- Advanced proficiency in Swift, SwiftUI, and Objective-C.
- Strong expertise in UIKit, modern iOS architecture, design patterns, and application lifecycle management.
- Proven experience designing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance iOS applications.
- Extensive experience integrating REST APIs, backend services, and enterprise platforms.
- Strong understanding of secure authentication, data protection, local persistence, offline capabilities, and synchronization mechanisms.
- Hands-on experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, CocoaPods, and Swift Package Manager (SPM).
- Expertise in unit, integration, and UI testing, along with code quality and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Leadership: Lead the end-to-end design, development, and delivery of enterprise-grade iOS applications.
- Architecture & Design: Define scalable application architecture, technical standards, design patterns, and engineering best practices.
- Hands-on Development: Drive complex feature implementation using Swift, SwiftUI, Objective-C, and UIKit.
- Enterprise Integration: Oversee integration with REST APIs, backend services, cloud platforms, and enterprise systems.
- Security & Performance: Ensure robust application security, data protection, performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Team Mentoring: Mentor developers, conduct code reviews, and promote engineering excellence across the team.
- Quality Engineering: Establish effective testing strategies and maintain high standards for code quality and application stability.
- Delivery & Operations: Drive CI/CD improvements, release management, production support, and continuous delivery practices.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with product, design, QA, backend, and architecture teams to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.
