responsibilities:
- Bachelor's or post graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
- 2+ years of experience as a technical lead supporting multiple teams, providing guidance and oversight for junior engineers; Partnering with Architecture, Data Services, etc. to propose, design, develop and implement solutions.
- Proven experience in a full stack software development environment.
- Understanding of and experience within an Agile/Scrum framework preferred.
qualifications:
Strong proficiency in a broad set of technologies including deep knowledge of middleware Java stack, Spring framework, Oracle, messaging technologies (Kafka), RESTful APIs and web containers
Experience in developing back-end messaging and notification systems using Kafka or related technologies.
Experience on Web Sockets, Web Push Notifications or SignalR is a plus.
Experience in implementing Micro services Architecture & building / deploying highly automated, scalable, and maintainable infrastructure.
Experience in designing, developing, and deploying micro services on AWS. Practical knowledge of a broad range of AWS services.
Experience in container orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes.
Proficient in databases and SQL. Exposure to Snowflake is a plus.
Experience with Dev-Assist tools (GitHub Copilot, Gemini etc)
