Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Guidewire PolicyCenter / ProducerEngage Engineering Manager to lead the technical implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the PolicyCenter platform.
This role is responsible for managing technical teams, coordinating resources, and overseeing software releases while contributing to product strategy and driving initiatives aligned with the overall business vision.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ProducerEngage solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and technical direction to the engineering team.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in development, integration, and deployment.
Project & Delivery Management
- Manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocation.
- Oversee end-to-end implementation and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ProducerEngage.
- Drive release planning and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software releases.
Customization & Configuration
- Manage customization, configuration, and integration of Guidewire PolicyCenter and ProducerEngage to meet evolving business requirements.
- Ensure scalable and maintainable system configurations.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business users, policy operations, and cross-functional stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Act as a bridge between technical and business teams.
Quality Assurance & Governance
- Ensure system quality, stability, and performance through robust testing and validation processes.
- Enforce development standards and best practices.
Production Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide leadership in resolving technical issues within Guidewire PolicyCenter and ProducerEngage.
- Ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, integrations, and development processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Guidewire PolicyCenter and ProducerEngage implementation, configuration, integration, custom development, and testing frameworks.
- 5+ years of experience in Java and GOSU programming.
- 2+ years of experience with Guidewire Cloud or Guidewire v10.
- 3+ years of proven experience managing software development teams and delivering projects.
- Strong understanding of Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance domain.
- Experience working in Agile or SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proactive mindset.
- Guidewire ACE Certification in PolicyCenter and ProducerEngage preferred.
The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
The salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all U.S. locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role. Final compensation decisions will depend on the unique facts and circumstances of each candidate.
