Title: IT M&A Integration Program Manager
Location: Plano, TX 75093 (Remote with quarterly travel to Denver, CO)
Employment Type: 12 plus month W2 contract no C2C or sponsorship available
Overview:
Talent Groups is seeking a senior IT M&A Program Manager to lead complex IT integration initiatives within high impact M&A environments. This is a delivery focused, hands off technical leadership role responsible for driving execution across infrastructure, data center, and enterprise IT workstreams while ensuring scope, timelines, and outcomes are met.
This role is ideal for a former consulting professional with deep M&A integration experience who brings strong technical credibility, structured program leadership, and the ability to operate confidently with executive stakeholders in fast paced, high pressure environments.
What You Will Do
• Own day to day program execution across multiple concurrent IT M&A workstreams
• Ensure milestones, deliverables, and timelines remain on track
• Establish and actively manage RAID logs, escalating risks and issues with clear mitigation strategies
• Drive accountability across infrastructure, data center, applications, security, IAM, and end user computing teams
• Identify and manage cross workstream dependencies that may impact scope or delivery
• Anticipate delivery risks and proactively remove blockers using structured problem solving
• Translate executive level strategy into actionable, technically sound delivery plans
• Provide clear, concise status reporting to senior and executive stakeholders
• Support TSA design, execution, and exit, ensuring continuity of operations
• Maintain strong stakeholder relationships through clear communication and diplomacy
Required Background and Experience
• 10 to 15 years of experience in IT project or program management
• Prior experience at a top or mid tier consulting firm with a dedicated M&A practice
o Examples include Deloitte, Accenture, EY, PwC, KPMG, West Monroe, or similar
• Proven track record delivering IT carve outs, integrations, and separations
• Deep experience operating in enterprise M&A environments with tight governance and timelines
• Strong technical credibility without hands on execution, enabling effective challenge of assumptions and decision making

• Microsoft 365 and collaboration migrations, including data governance heavy environments
o Experience with GCC High M365 tenants is a strong plus
o This role may also serve as project manager for the M365 migration effort
