Overview / Summary

We are seeking a skilled AEM Developer to design, build, and maintain Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) solutions that support modern, engaging digital experiences. The role will work closely with architects, UX/UI designers, product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers to deliver scalable, high-performing, and secure applications.

The position involves working across the AEM stack, including component and template development, digital asset management, backend services, integrations, search, and cloud deployment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and support AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS) implementations, including authoring, publishing, and dispatcher configurations.
  • Develop and maintain Digital Asset Management (DAM) repositories, including metadata schemas, folder structures, and asset governance.
  • Configure and maintain Blueprints, Live Copies, and Rollout Configurations for content consistency across multi-site environments.
  • Build responsive, high-performance front-end experiences using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frameworks such as React or Angular.
  • Develop backend services and integrations using Java, Sling, and OSGi, including REST/API integrations with third-party systems.
  • Write clean, scalable, well-tested code and actively participate in code reviews.
  • Partner with UX/UI designers, business analysts, and product managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and backlog refinement.
  • Manage work through tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and specifications.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues with a focus on stability and continuous improvement.
  • Troubleshoot indexing failures, data synchronization issues, and search relevance problems across environments.
  • Collaborate with architects to evaluate and evolve search architecture as content volume and site footprint grow.
  • Support and improve CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Deploy and manage applications on cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Apply best practices for security, accessibility, and performance across deliverables.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in AEM development, including components, templates, workflows, and DAM.
  • Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and at least one modern front-end framework such as React or Angular.
  • Experience with Java, Sling, and OSGi in an AEM context.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Required Technical Skills

  • Apache Sling
  • JavaScript
  • React
  • Angular
  • HTML5

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AEM as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
  • Experience with DevOps tools and processes such as Git, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with microservices or service-oriented architecture.
  • Hands-on experience using AI tools to support development, testing, or content workflows.
  • Adobe AEM certification(s).
