Scheduling Analysts for temporary positions in Houston, TX. This role supports inventory accuracy, product movement transactions, and month-end close activities for
Renewables or
Heavies business lines. Ideal candidates have
oil & gas experience, strong
SAP skills, and advanced Excel reporting experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and verify product movement and inventory transactions in SAP S/4
- Analyze inventory builds/draws and reconciliation reports
- Support schedulers, traders, accounting, and offshore teams
- Resolve transaction discrepancies, ticketing issues, and data errors
- Assist with month-end close, accruals, and inventory corrections
- Prepare reports and summaries for management review
- Identify recurring issues and recommend process improvements
- Troubleshoot nominations and inventory impacts in SAP
- Work with large data sets in Excel and ERP systems
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 5+ years of experience in scheduling, inventory analysis, accounting support, or related role
- Oil & gas industry experience required
- SAP reporting and transaction experience preferred
- Strong Excel, Word, and Outlook skills
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Backgrounds:
- Renewables: feedstocks, sustainable aviation fuel, renewable products
- Heavies: fuel oil, crude, feedstocks
