Summary
Role: WMS Program Manager
Location: New York / Remote
Duration: 8-12+ months with possible extension
Job Description:
· Operational Leadership: Supervise daily receiving, shipping, and inventory handling, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational procedures.
· Inventory & Logistics Control: Oversee inventory accuracy, manage stock levels, and coordinate with procurement to meet retailer demand. Ensure timely liquidation of damaged/expired stock.
· Team Development: Recruit, train, coach, and schedule warehouse staff. Act as a mentor to build a talent pipeline.
· Performance Metrics: Monitor KPIs (e.g., picking accuracy, order turnaround time) to identify bottlenecks and implement improvements.
· Technology & Compliance: Leverage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ensure adherence to safety, health, and legal regulations.
