Job Description
We are seeking a Software Engineer (Advanced) to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in enterprise-scale software engineering, Agile delivery, and modern DevOps practices and a proven ability to coach teams, drive engineering excellence, and deliver resilient, secure applications.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a firm-wide engineering resource contributing to programs across large environments and multiple operating systems.
- Lead and guide teams through the software development lifecycle using a modern toolset.
- Coach engineers in at least one technical skill and promote Agile practices within teams.
- Apply and advocate techniques such as CI/CD, TDD, cloud-native development, resiliency, and security by design.
- Evaluate emerging technologies and influence adoption to support business objectives.
- Contribute to the engineering community through knowledge sharing, presentations, or publications.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in at least one core technology and associated design techniques.
- Demonstrated experience across the full software development lifecycle and modern engineering toolchains.
- Strong knowledge of Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery, Test Driven Development, and cloud development practices.
- Solid understanding of application resiliency and security principles.
- Ability to lead and coach Agile teams and influence engineering standards.
- Experience working in large-scale, multi-OS, enterprise environments.
Preferred Skills:
- Public cloud experience (e.g., AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform) and infrastructure automation.
- Proven impact through talks, community engagement, or technical writing.
