Job Title: Senior Mobile Architect (Onsite)

Location: Washington, DC

Duration: 06 Months with possible extension

 

Job Description:

The Client is modernizing the Mobile Application to leverage new digital technologies such as cloud computing, data analytics, artificial intelligence, and mobile capabilities required to create a modern experience for the Client customers and partners. The Client Mobile Application (Destiny) helps improve services to citizens and enhance government operations while strengthening overall data security. To address these challenges, the Client team is looking to hire a highly skilled senior developer to rapidly connect the Client Mobile Application with modern technology.

 

This role will architect, design, and develop mobile applications in iOS and Android integrated with Mobile Backend as a Service (MBaaS) using the Java API for RESTful Web Services (JAX-RS) architecture. The Candidate will work to gain an understanding of the Client mobile infrastructure and application implementation requirements that facilitate continuous feature release of applications.

 

This is a Master level position which required 16 years of work experience and a BS Degree or the equivalent. 

 

Skills:

·         Genuine core JAVA development with strong back-end development skills-Required-12-Years

·         Strong backend system design and architecture – JAVA Annotations, Generics, Reflection, Inheritance, OO Design, NIO, Bean Validation-Required-15-Years

·         Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field or equivalent experience-Required-12-Years

·         Enterprise mobile application development experience with iOS and Android-Required-7-Years

·         Omnichannel MADP experience across different form factors – NFC, BLE, and IR-Required-10-Years

·         Spring Boot Application Development experience-Required-10-Years

·         Spring – Java Config, Dependency Injection, Autowiring Concepts-Required-10-Years

·         Spring Integration Development experience-Required-10-Years

·         Spring Web Services Development experience-Required-10-Years

·         Experience with MAVEN project build-Required-10-Years

·         Experience with GIT version control repository-Required-12-Years

·         Experience with Tomcat/Jetty/Undertow Application Servers-Required-10-Years

·         Experience with LINUX working environment-Required-10-Years

·         Experience with JIRA issue tracker-Desired-8-Years

·         Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI/CD) practices-Desired-8-Years

·         OpenShift container-based application development and deployment experience-Required- -Years

·         BS Degree or equivalent experience-Required- -
