Summary
Location: Plainsboro, NJ (Onsite)
We are looking for an experienced **UI/UX Lead Designer** to lead the design of intuitive, user-friendly, and visually engaging digital products. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with **Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, and Storybook** and will work closely with Product, Engineering, and business teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end **UI/UX design process**, from requirements and user flows to final design and implementation.
- Create **wireframes, prototypes, mockups, and high-fidelity UI designs** using Figma and Adobe tools.
- Develop and maintain **design systems, reusable UI components, and design standards**.
- Work with **Storybook** to document and manage reusable UI components and ensure design consistency.
- Collaborate closely with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and UI components.
- Conduct usability reviews and incorporate user and stakeholder feedback into design solutions.
- Ensure designs are responsive, accessible, consistent, and aligned with business requirements.
- Lead design reviews and present concepts and solutions to product and business stakeholders.
- Mentor junior designers and provide guidance on UX/UI best practices.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, QA, and other stakeholders.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in **UI/UX, Product Design, or Visual Design**.
- Strong hands-on experience with **Figma**.
- Strong experience with **Adobe Creative Suite**, including Photoshop and Illustrator.
- Experience with **Storybook** and component-based design systems.
- Strong knowledge of UX principles, user flows, wireframing, prototyping, and usability.
- Experience creating and maintaining **design systems and reusable UI components**.
- Strong understanding of responsive web and mobile design.
- Experience working closely with frontend developers and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide other designers.
