Job Summary
Role needed to support the FAS DDI project and other multiple ongoing DDI projects to process deliverables/tracking along with processing requests/deliverables for changes to the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
There is a need for a full-time Business Analyst/Change Management Analyst to support FAS DDI deliverables processing/tracking. The candidate must be able to process new requests and deliverables for the MES System, design docs that come through in a timely manner, etc.; all deliverables must be processed, logged in, and pushed to SMEs and PMs for next steps.
About the Role
(This is NOT an admin role)
For the FAS project, there is a need for a full-time Business Analyst/Change Management Analyst to support the FAS DDI deliverables processing and approvals/rejections from the FAS vendor, as well as deliverables from all other MES vendors impacted by FAS DDI. This includes ensuring the quality of transfer, storage, and processing of associated deliverables using version control to/from MES vendors, internal development teams, SMEs, and other contracted companies.
  • Support Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) Project(s) within the Change Management Office.
  • Support processing of MES O&M (Operations & Maintenance) requests/deliverables.
  • Responsible for maintaining databases, tracking logs, and project deliverable files.
  • Generate and/or post recurring/ad-hoc status reports and provide responses/data to project inquiries from management and staff.
  • Assist and work closely with the Information Management and PMO teams, DMAS SME community, and MES vendors.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Support Design, Development and Implementation (DDI) Project(s) within the Change Management Office and process MES O&M requests/deliverables.
  • Handle hundreds of deliverables; must understand common IT verbiage such as design docs, test plans, and work plans.
  • Process new requests for deliverables and design docs in a timely manner—logging deliverables in and routing them to SMEs and PMs for next steps.
  • Work directly with Vendors providing modules/products for the Medicaid Enterprise System (MES).
  • Demonstrate professional, strong analytical and people management skills.
  • Collaborate with project team members, management, SMEs, and vendors to ensure alignment with key cross-functional project request/deliverable activities.
  • Align change management work streams and related activities with the Project Management Office (PMO).
  • Work closely with program/project management to ensure smooth transition and awareness of releases prior to deployment.
  • Complete change management requirements and tasks using a structured methodology.
  • Develop strong, credible relationships with all stakeholders and serve as the key central IT point of contact for the Change Management team.
  • Ensure project deliverable documents are stored and maintained in project folders; act as the program librarian to ensure all program/project documentation is filed and versioned correctly.
  • Serve as a key resource for project reporting and coordination across all stages of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Required / Desired Skills
  • IT Environment Experience: Considerable work-related experience in an IT environment ( Highly Desired | 5 Years)
  • Change & Release Management: Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with Change and Release Management methodologies using version control ( Required | 5 Years)
  • SDLC: Considerable work-related knowledge and experience with the Systems Development Life Cycle ( Required | 5 Years)
  • Data & Order Processing: Experience with data entry and work order processing ( Required | 5 Years)
  • Workflow & Process Control: Experience with tracking and reporting, controlling processes, and managing workflow ( Required | 5 Years)
  • Communication & Customer Service: Excellent oral and written communication and customer service skills with internal and external customers ( Required | 5 Years)
  • Healthcare Domain Experience: Experience in healthcare is a big plus; if yes, please highlight on resume. If not, put N/A in this column ( Nice to Have)
