Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced FullStack Automation Engineer to join the Brokerage Recordkeeping Technology. This role is focused on supporting and enhancing the Next Generation Brokerage Platform, with a strong emphasis on production support, test automation, and service reliability.
This position is more aligned with Production Support and Testing rather than pure development, but requires strong Java coding ability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide production support for critical brokerage applications and services
2. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices supporting high transaction workloads
3. Build and execute end-to-end (E2E) test automation frameworks
4. Develop and maintain automated testing using Cucumber, Selenium, and Serenity
5. Support functional, performance, and resilience testing efforts
6. Work closely with cross-functional teams including Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Release Management
7. Participate in CI/CD pipeline development and support
8. Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely and efficient manner
9. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance in a high-TPS environment
Required Skills & Experience:
1. 6+ years of experience in Java development (Spring / Spring Boot)
2. Strong experience in Production Support (L2/L3 preferred)
3. Hands-on experience with E2E test automation (Cucumber, Selenium, Serenity)
4. Experience with AWS services (S3, Lambda, SNS, AWS Batch, etc.)
5. Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub, uDeploy, Stash, etc.)
6. Experience with microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
7. Solid understanding of Oracle PL/SQL
8. Exposure to containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
9. Experience in functional, performance, and resilience testing
10. Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Nice to Have:
1. Financial Services / Brokerage domain experience
2. Exposure to high-volume trading or transaction systems
3. Understanding of messaging frameworks
