Position Name: APIGEE architect

Salary: $145000/Annum

Key Responsibilities

• API Design & Development: Architect and oversee the design, development, and deployment of APIs using Apigee Edge/Apigee X on Google Cloud Platform, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
• Solution Architecture: Develop end-to-end API management solutions, including gateway configuration, traffic management, security policies, and analytics integration.
• Cloud Integration: Integrate APIs with Google Cloud Platform cloud services (e.g., Cloud Functions, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Big Query) and third-party systems as per business requirements.
• Security & Compliance: Implement robust security protocols such as OAuth, JWT, API key management, and threat protection. Ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Performance Optimization: Monitor and fine-tune API performance, scalability, and reliability using Apigee analytics and Google Cloud Platform monitoring tools.
• Technical Leadership: Guide and mentor development teams on API best practices, reusable design patterns, and Apigee platform capabilities.
• Documentation & Governance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for API specifications, architecture diagrams, and governance policies.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and other stakeholders to translate business needs into technical API solutions.
• Troubleshooting & Support: Provide Level 3 support for API-related issues, conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions.
