Mandatory & Requested Qualifications

Candidates must meet the Mid-Level criteria (36–60 months of experience) and possess the following qualifications:

BI Reporting: 36 months of experience developing dynamic reports using a business intelligence reporting solution.
Data Sources: 24 months of experience producing production management reports from both flat-file AND relational data sources.
Microsoft Power Platform: 18 months of experience in the Microsoft Power Platform.
Power BI: 12 months of experience developing detailed management reports specifically in Power BI.
Power Automate: 12 months of experience in Microsoft Power Automate.
Python: 12 months of experience managing data and/or reporting using Python.
Low Code Development: 6 months of experience in Power Apps or other low-code development tools.
Education: Master’s Degree.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Data Analysis: Organize and analyze internal and external business data to develop business unit-level reports.
Report Development: Utilize approved tools such as OBIEE, Tableau, and Power BI to perform data analysis, inquiries, and report writing.
Operational Support: Create reports used to increase data sharing across business units and identify potential operational issues.
Technical Environment: Work within a technical environment utilizing Microsoft Windows, SQL, Python, PowerShell, and Unix.
Knowledge Transfer: Participate in a mandated, written knowledge transfer plan to share expertise with State employees.
Compliance: Attend mandatory workplace training including Security Awareness, Preventing Sexual Harassment, and Workplace Violence prevention.
