Description:
Manufacturing Engineer
Location: Milan, IL
Duration: 12 months with possible extension

Responsibilities:

Support the collection, validation, and analysis of key data points used in designing physical warehouse layouts.
Verify data accuracy within legacy warehouse operating systems.
Lead or assist with tactical optimization initiatives across multiple facilities to ensure alignment with current and future operating system requirements.
Build and maintain data sets for facility readiness and perform gap analyses to identify improvement areas.
Review, validate, and create accurate AutoCAD drawings of warehouse layouts.
Partner with engineering team members to execute layout reconfiguration and data-driven projects supporting U.S. regional distribution centers.
Perform additional tasks as needed.

Must-Have Qualifications:

Strong experience in data analysis and proficiency with data tools.
Hands-on experience working with CAD software.
Effective time management and project management abilities.
Prior warehouse or distribution environment experience.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or a Technical field with 1-3 years of relevant experience (no entry level candidates).

Preferred / Stand-Out Experience:

SAP experience.
