Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Software Engineer to manage a diverse team of software professionals, including a Software Architect, multiple types of software development engineers (UI/UX, Multi-Tier, Cloud, DevOps, Data Feed). This position offers a unique opportunity to lead a talented team in developing cutting-edge cloud-based solutions, contributing to the success of critical missions and enhancing our technological capabilities.

What You'll Be Doing:
  • Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from requirements documentation to deployment, ensuring that all projects are delivered on time and meet the highest quality standards.
  • Interact regularly with stakeholders to gather and document requirements, translating them into actionable tasks for the team. This role requires maintaining JIRA boards to provide daily updates on progress, facilitating agile ceremonies, and ensuring that the team adheres to best practices in software development and DevOps.
  • Possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment. Strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset are essential for managing complex projects and driving continuous improvement.

What Required Skills You'll Bring:
  • Minimum ten years of experience in software development and team management, with a strong background in agile methodologies and Scrum Master experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Experience with large cloud capability deployments is essential
  • Atlassian, Jira, Confluence experience
  • Active TS/SCI w/Poly

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:
  • AWS certifications and NC3 mission experience are advantageous but not required

Security Clearance Requirement:
An active Top Secret SCI w/Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.

Salary Range: $144,800.00 - $260,600.00
