Programming Lead Posting

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Programmer to join our advanced manufacturing team. You will be responsible for translating engineering blueprints into efficient, error-free machine code using modern CAD/CAM software. You will optimize toolpaths, design work-holding, and collaborate with machinists to ensure seamless production runs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead problem-solving initiatives related to programming workflows while supporting cross-functional work areas and driving continuous improvement.
  • Facilitate and lead daily team meetings to align priorities, remove obstacles, and maintain momentum.
  • Partner closely with Project Managers to resolve project questions, technical challenges, and RFIs across active projects.
  • Develop, document, and continuously improve standard work processes while training and mentoring team members.
  • Promote operational excellence by auditing adherence to standard work and identifying improvement opportunities.
  • Provide leadership and support by addressing challenges raised by team members and helping remove barriers to success.
  • Manage and resolve abnormal work conditions, escalating critical issues to the Modeling Manager when needed.
  • Monitor workflow inputs, outputs, and quality metrics to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Track progress against schedules and proactively identify risks or constraints.
  • Support team capacity needs by assisting with workload balancing and stepping into production activities when necessary.
  • Contribute to building a high-performing team culture focused on collaboration, accountability, and continuous growth.

Technical Knowledge & Industry Expertise
  • Strong understanding of company framing systems including curtain wall, ribbon wall, and storefront systems
  • Ability to interpret and work from:

o Architectural drawings
o Structural drawings
o Project specifications
  • Working knowledge of structural engineering principles with the ability to coordinate with third-party Professional Engineers (PEs)
  • Understanding of construction practices, methods, and field execution
  • Knowledge of manufacturing processes, methods, and production workflows
