We are seeking a motivated Business Analyst – Property & Casualty Insurance to support insurance technology initiatives across policy, billing, claims, underwriting, and agency operations. This role focuses on gathering business requirements, supporting Agile delivery, documenting functional needs, and working closely with product owners, developers, QA teams, business stakeholders, and insurance operations teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience or exposure to the Property & Casualty insurance domain and will help translate business needs into user stories, process flows, functional documentation, and UAT support activities.
<> Key Responsibilities
Assist with requirements gathering and documentation for Property & Casualty insurance systems
Support creation of user stories, epics, acceptance criteria, and functional specifications
Collaborate with Product Owners, Developers, QA teams, Underwriting, Claims, Billing, and Operations teams
Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, grooming, daily standups, demos, and retrospectives
Support UAT planning, test scenario review, defect tracking, and issue resolution
Maintain business process flows, functional documentation, and requirement traceability
Analyze gaps between current and future-state insurance system processes
Support policy administration, claims, billing, rating, and underwriting workflow discussions
Communicate business requirements clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Assist with validation of insurance data, reports, and transaction flows
<> Required Qualifications
2–3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or related role
Exposure to Property & Casualty insurance systems or insurance business operations
Understanding of policy lifecycle, claims process, billing, rating, or underwriting concepts
Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
Experience using JIRA, Confluence, or similar documentation/project tracking tools
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Basic understanding of SQL, data validation, or reporting concepts
Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment
Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills
