Position: PeopleSoft Technical Developer

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced PeopleSoft Technical Developer to support a financial services client in New York City. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with PeopleSoft Financials development, excellent technical problem-solving skills, and the ability to work directly with business and technical stakeholders.
This is a hybrid role requiring the consultant to be onsite at the client location in NYC three days per week for the duration of the engagement. Local candidates are strongly preferred.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in PeopleSoft Financials development.
- Extensive hands-on development experience with:
- PeopleCode
- Application Engine
- SQR
- Component Interfaces
- Application Packages
- Integration Broker
- PS Queries
- XML Publisher / BI Publisher
- Experience developing and supporting PeopleSoft Financials modules such as:
- General Ledger (GL)
- Accounts Payable (AP)
- Accounts Receivable (AR)
- Asset Management (AM)
- Purchasing (PO)
- Billing
- Strong SQL and database skills.
- Experience with system enhancements, customizations, interfaces, conversions, and production support.
- Ability to analyze technical requirements and provide effective solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions within the PeopleSoft Financials environment.
- Develop customizations, interfaces, reports, conversions, and enhancements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues and performance problems.
- Collaborate with business users, functional teams, and project stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
- Support testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Create and maintain technical design documentation.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to development standards and best practices.
- Provide production support and assist with issue resolution as needed.
