Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Plan and execute upgrades of Micro Focus platforms and associated enterprise applications.
- Analyze existing mainframe and COBOL applications to identify compatibility, configuration, and migration requirements.
- Perform application testing, troubleshooting, and remediation to support successful platform upgrades and continued system stability.
- Collaborate with technical teams to document upgrade activities, resolve issues, and support modernization initiatives.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
Experience with mainframe technologies, COBOL application development, and enterprise application upgrades.

Preferred Qualifications
- Strong COBOL and mainframe application experience with enterprise-scale systems.
