Responsibilities- Develop the end-to-end experience for AI-powered products, including data pipelines, backend services, and user interfaces for interacting with the Kargo platform.
- Build and evolve Kargo's customer-facing dashboards and applications, creating intuitive experiences that help users understand and act on complex logistics data.
- Develop software experiences across multiple surfaces - web, mobile, and kiosk interfaces deployed on Kargo Towers and forklifts.
- Collaborate with Product and Solution Engineers to build our agentic AI product suite.
- Strengthen the stability, scalability, and measurability of our backend systems.
Experience- 5+ years of software engineering experience building products at scale.
- Strong experience in TypeScript and Python.
- Experience building and shipping enterprise or consumer-facing products, with a strong understanding of how product needs translate into technical requirements.
- Comfort working cross-functionally and with direct customer stakeholders.
- Experience building modern web applications and APIs, with the ability to own features across the full stack.
- Strong understanding of backend architecture, distributed systems, scalability, reliability, and fault-tolerant system design.
- Experience with production infrastructure and observability, including logging, monitoring, alerting, and debugging distributed systems.
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
