Sr. Cloud Platform Engineer - LOCAL / Onsite

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to support a professional environment in Indianapolis. This role will focus on leading and mentoring a growing team to deliver high-quality cloud solutions. This role will recognize, identify, triage and resolve platform issues and escalate to the appropriate resource where required. This person will Identify and recommend methods for improved automation, scalability, better monitoring, and process transparency across all stakeholders and perform system and component level configuration, testing, and documentation for platform projects. This person will also recommend strategies, procedures, and new technologies for implementation and will ensure existing standards and methodologies are in place and work together with the development team to identify and implement enhanced standards. Required Skills:
Must have 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering or platform engineering roles
Must have strong hands-on experience with AWS
Must have experience building infrastructure using Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deployments is required
Must be familiar with AWS networking, IAM, and core cloud architecture patterns
Must have experience with leading and mentoring others
Must have experience working in environments with MSPs or external partners
Must have a strong understanding of data security, access control, and governance in regulated environments
Must have experience working with system integrators or external partners during large platform initiatives
