Senior Systems Analyst

We are seeking a Senior Systems Analyst to join a newly formed Solution Layer team supporting large-scale, enterprise-wide initiatives. This role will focus on analyzing, designing, and supporting system integrations and enterprise solutions that enable critical business processes across multiple applications and lines of business.

You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating high-level objectives into actionable solution designs that drive scalable, forward-thinking technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with business leaders and SMEs to capture high-level objectives and define solution direction
• Analyze complex enterprise systems to determine functional ownership, integration points, and solution architecture alignment
• Gather and document business and system requirements, workflows, and solution designs
• Create process flows, diagrams (Visio), and documentation to support development and architecture teams
• Collaborate with developers and architects to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Support system integration efforts, ensuring efficient data flow and interoperability across platforms
• Provide high-level troubleshooting and issue analysis across interconnected systems
• Identify opportunities for system improvements, scalability, and modernization
• Serve as a bridge between stakeholders and delivery teams, ensuring alignment with business goals

Project & Environment Context

• Greenfield environment focused on next-generation application development
• Supporting the transformation of multiple lines of business (e.g., retail, vending, unattended kiosks) into shared, modular platforms
• Current initiatives include rewriting retail applications and building scalable systems for:
  • Ordering and fulfillment
  • Reporting and analytics
• Exposure to enterprise-scale integration efforts, including APIs and event-driven architectures
• Operating within a SAFe Agile environment (experience helpful but not required)

Required Qualifications

• 3–6 years of experience as a Systems Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, or similar role
• Proven experience working in enterprise environments with complex systems and integrations
• Strong ability to partner with business stakeholders and translate needs into solution designs
• Experience creating process flows, system diagrams, and functional documentation
• Solid understanding of system integrations, APIs, and event-based architectures (broad, not deep expertise)
• Ability to operate at a high-level across multiple projects and systems
• Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive mindset

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with SQL (basic understanding is sufficient)
• Familiarity with workflow modeling tools (e.g., Visio)
• Exposure to Agile/SAFe environments
