Business/Data Analyst

Role Overview
The client is seeking a Data/Business Analyst to support data-driven initiatives within an AWS environment. The role focuses on gathering and validating business requirements, performing source-to-target mapping, and ensuring data accuracy through reconciliation and validation processes. This position works closely with development and testing teams in an Agile environment to deliver high-quality, business-ready data solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Gather and document business requirements and validate them against AWS data sources
Perform source-to-target mapping, data reconciliation, validation, and cleansing
Create SQL queries to prepare consumable datasets for business users
Compare and validate JSON and XML files for accuracy and completeness
Collaborate with development and testing teams and participate in Agile ceremonies
Maintain documentation using JIRA and Confluence
