Job Overview:
  • The Learning Technologist is responsible for administering and optimizing learning management systems to support training and development initiatives.
  • This role involves system configuration, testing, integrations, reporting, and providing subject matter expertise on learning technologies.
  • The candidate will collaborate with stakeholders to ensure effective learning solutions and system performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as subject matter expert for learning systems, providing guidance on capabilities and design options.
  • Document system functionality and configurations.
  • Define and execute test cases including unit, functional, and user acceptance testing.
  • Design and manage system security and user permissions.
  • Build and test system integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.
  • Create and manage courses and sessions within learning systems.
  • Develop and assign course surveys.
  • Generate and maintain reports and learning metrics.
  • Triage and resolve service tickets related to learning systems.
  • Administer and maintain learning management systems.
  • Configure user roles, permissions, and access controls.
  • Monitor enrollment metrics and manage course participation.
  • Support ongoing training setup including courses, classes, and learning paths.
  • Collaborate with teams to support new and existing learning programs.

Skills:

  • Learning Management Systems administration and configuration.
  • System testing including unit, functional, and UAT.
  • User access management and security configuration.
  • Integration design and troubleshooting.
  • Reporting and analytics for learning systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualification And Education:

  • Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Education Technology, or related field.
  • Equivalent work experience may be considered.

Should Have:

  • Experience with learning systems such as Skillify or similar platforms.
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems and service management processes.
  • Experience supporting enterprise learning programs and training initiatives.
