The role holds a seat on the global engineering council, contributing to the processes and products that serve a global customer base and its business requirements, and works in close collaboration with the other regional engineering leads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the Global Head of Engineering, lead a team of equipment, software, and electrical engineers, as well as production engineers, across the North America and Europe regions. This includes the Allentown and Breinigsville, PA, Austin, TX, and Chandler, AZ sites, where the focus is on delivering technical leadership and strategic direction.
  • Own the regional execution of the new product development portfolio, from concept and feasibility through design, prototype build, qualification, and release to volume manufacturing. Hold programs to their agreed deliverables, development timelines and manage risks at each gate.
  • Promote safety and quality practices within engineering and laboratory environments, with particular emphasis on the safe handling of hazardous gases and chemicals. Establish rigorous safety protocols and quality assurance measures to ensure compliance with industry standards, including SEMI and ISO.
  • Develop and execute resource plans aligned with workload forecasts, in collaboration with engineering, product development, and other stakeholders. Ensure the optimal allocation of resources across development and sustaining projects involving the design, installation, and maintenance of gas and chemical delivery systems.
  • Communicate the impact of change and its potential effects on engineering to stakeholders, and recommend solutions that optimize cost without compromising quality or service.
  • Lead the monthly town hall meetings with regional engineering teams, manage the regional budget and forecast and guarantee compliance with customer and legal standards.
  • Ensure engineering teams provide day-to-day engineering support across regional manufacturing operations to resolve critical build and installation challenges.
  • Utilizes robust engineering practices to champion quality initiatives, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions for both internal and customer escapes. Actively participates in FMEAs and process validations while collaborating closely with supplier quality teams to address technical issues.
  • Implement metrics and data analytics to measure engineering deliverables from global framework, including new product development cycle time and first-pass yield, and use them to inform development priorities.

Who You Are:
