Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA PP and Manufacturing Consultant to support manufacturing operations across multiple plant locations. The ideal candidate will have strong functional expertise in SAP Production Planning (PP), hands-on plant-facing manufacturing support experience, and a proven ability to resolve production issues from initial investigation through final resolution.

The consultant will serve as a key liaison between manufacturing teams and IT, support production operations, improve business processes, and lead super-user forums and training sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide functional support for SAP S/4HANA Production Planning (PP) and Plan-to-Make processes across multiple manufacturing sites.

• Support daily manufacturing operations and troubleshoot production-related issues in real time.

• Analyze production issues to determine whether the root cause is related to business processes, master data, configuration, or system functionality.

• Manage production support tickets end to end, including investigation, root cause analysis, resolution, and follow-up.

• Support core SAP PP processes, including Material Requirements Planning (MRP), production orders, order confirmations, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and routings.

• Support goods receipt and goods issue processes related to manufacturing operations.

• Ensure effective integration between SAP PP and Materials Management (MM), Quality Management (QM), and Warehouse Management (WM/EWM).

• Gather business requirements and document current-state and future-state manufacturing processes.

• Support functional testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and defect resolution.

• Participate in SAP S/4HANA deployments, go-live activities, and post-go-live hypercare support.

• Lead super-user forums, conduct knowledge-sharing sessions, and train plant users on SAP processes.

• Collaborate with plant operations, business stakeholders, and IT teams to improve manufacturing process efficiency.

• Travel to manufacturing locations, including Costa Rica, as required.
