Data Engineer II

Join our team as a Data Engineer II, working 100% remotely with leadership based in Dallas, Texas. This role offers the opportunity to build a data platform from scratch and requires expertise in Azure Cloud.

Responsibilities:

• Designing and implementing scalable data pipelines using Spark and Azure Databricks.


• Building and optimizing data models for both analytics and AI/ML use-cases.


• Developing data quality checks and ensuring data integrity.


• Writing efficient SQL queries and optimizing data warehouse performance.


• Collaborating with analytics and data science teams to understand data requirements.

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in data engineering or related field.


• 
  

  Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

  
  


• Strong SQL expertise and experience with data warehouses.


• Experience with Spark or Airflow for data pipelines.


• Proficiency in Python or Scala.


• Understanding of data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts.


• Azure Cloud experience.


• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Desired Skills:

• 4+ years of experience preferred.


• Master's degree in a related field is a plus.


• Experience with Databricks or Delta Lake.


• Background in building data platforms from scratch.
