Job Description

TDC supports a large and complex software environment that requires a dedicated professional to manage ongoing maintenance, contribute to system architecture, automate operational processes, maintain technical documentation, assist end users, and support the integration of new software solutions.

The role requires extensive experience with virtualization technologies, including hypervisors such as Red Hat and VMware/Broadcom, along with hands-on expertise in Virtual Machine (VM) deployment, administration, and maintenance, which will serve as a primary responsibility of this position.

A Secret Clearance is required for this role.

  • Ability to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance
  • Advanced Engineering degree required

  • Key Responsibilities

    The selected candidate will be responsible for:

    • Conducting program portfolio reviews to evaluate and recommend alternative approaches, improve systems engineering processes, sustain technical baselines, and design and execute system-level testing to ensure subsystem and overall system performance meets approved specifications.
    • Performing program and technical reviews to assess engineering plans, system designs, and test results while ensuring compliance with program requirements and performance standards.
    • Preparing technical documentation that defines, specifies, and recommends system and subsystem characteristics.
    • Developing management reports and delivering technical presentations to support planning, implementation, and corrective action initiatives using engineering economy principles.
    • Performing system validation activities, including developing evaluation criteria and procedures, and analyzing results of major engineering systems.
    • Providing systems and program engineering support, technical assistance, and training for initiatives involving acquisition, development, integration, sustainment, modernization, deployment, installation, and operational oversight.
    • Supporting program and project risk management activities in compliance with Air Force SEAM processes.
    • Performing advanced engineering analysis activities, including:
      • Problem and gap definition
      • Trade space analysis
      • Science and technology roadmap analysis
      • Set-based design for concept development
      • Multi-Objective Decision Analysis (MODA)
      • Cost-versus-capability trade-off analysis
    • Completing additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
