Lockheed Martin (LM) is looking for a Systems Integrator/ Responsible Systems Engineer (SI/RSE) to work closely with the Chief Engineer team on a development program team within the Space Protection Programs Portfolio in Denver, Colorado.

As a System Integrator/SI RSE, you will:
Support CE role to ensure integrity of system / segments / subsystems design, integration, verification & certification, including compliance of segment requirements, sub-system specs, ICDs, CONOPS, and hardware & software to achieve physical-logical integration
Provide technical leadership for test planning, troubleshooting, failure investigation, design issue resolution and operational planning.
Provide technical leadership and coordination across a multidisciplinary team for interface implementation, design development, and issue resolution.
Ensure technical baseline management by application of engineering rigor, consistency, attention to detail, and technical integrity to insure compliance to LM Command Media in-support of program review boards (ERB, QRB, MRB, FRB, TIB, etc.)
Provide thought-leadership to proactively engage with program leadership &/or customer to resolve open actions or concerns
Manage top-level interfaces including development/refinement, implementation and verification.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related discipline
Experience integrating Electrical, RF, software or Hardware/software systems, subsystems or products
Experience in one or more subsystems areas such as RF, electronics, avionics, software, power, structures & mechanisms, Guidance Navigation and Control or Assembly, Integration & Test
Experience coordinating with multiple engineering functions (Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, Flight Sciences, Materials, Manufacturing, Test, etc.)
Active or current TS/SCI security clearance w/ poly prior to start

Desired skills

Experience with system test, software development and test, electrical test or RF system test
Experience with space-vehicle level payload/bus integration
Ability to absorb extensive technical detail and logically formulate solutions for execution on an inflexible schedule, often requiring integration of conflicting and, at times, incomplete data
Experience ensuring the physical and functional compatibility of sophisticated systems throughout the full lifecycle of the program
Experience as a subsystem responsible systems engineer or certified product engineer
Ability to interact with system/ segment developers to ensure mission requirements are satisfied
Ability to get results from teams without direct authority
Proven track record of good judgment and programmatic execution vital to meet technical requirements while balancing schedules and budget obligations
Ability to operate in a dynamic environment and take on numerous roles as part of the daily program operations

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

National Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California, Massachusetts, and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New Jersey, Vermont, Washington or Washington DC is $109,200 - $192,510. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
Benefits offered: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, 401(k) match, Flexible Spending Accounts, EAP, Education Assistance, Parental Leave, Paid time off, and Holidays.
(Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
This position is incentive plan eligible.

Premium Pay Statement

Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in most major metropolitan areas in California, Massachusetts, and New York is $125,600 - $217,695. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate's final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only. Lockheed Martin considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
