Position: Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials & SCM Release Manager

Position Overview
The Oracle Cloud Fusion Release Manager will own the end‑ to‑ end release lifecycle for Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials & SCM, ensuring smooth deployment of quarterly patches, enhancements, integrations, and cross‑ module changes. This role requires deep understanding of Oracle Cloud ERP, strong coordination across functional and technical teams, and rigorous governance to maintain system stability and business continuity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Release Planning & Governance
• Define and manage the release calendar for Oracle Cloud Fusion Financials & SCM.
• Coordinate quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, regression cycles, and blackout windows.
• Establish release governance, approval workflows, and change‑ control processes.
• Conduct impact assessments for new features, patches, and configuration changes.
2. Cross‑ Functional Coordination
• Work closely with Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain, IT, and Integration teams.
• Facilitate release readiness meetings, walkthroughs, and sign‑off sessions.
• Ensure alignment between functional consultants, developers, testers, and business SMEs.
• Communicate release scope, risks, dependencies, and timelines to stakeholders.
3. Release Execution & Deployment
• Oversee deployment of configurations, extensions, integrations, and reports.
• Manage migration of objects across environments (DEV → TEST → PROD).
• Validate pre‑deployment and post‑deployment checklists.
• Ensure adherence to SOX, audit, and compliance requirements.
4. Testing Oversight
• Coordinate SIT and UAT cycles for each release.
• Ensure test coverage across Financials (GL, AP, AR, FA, CM) and SCM (PO, INV, OM, Procurement).
• Review test plans, test cases, and regression scripts.
• Track defects and ensure timely resolution before release cutover.
5. Oracle Quarterly Update Management
• Analyze Oracle Cloud readiness documentation and release notes.
• Identify module‑level impacts across Financials & SCM.
• Drive regression testing, business validation, and feature adoption planning.
• Communicate new functionalities and deprecations to business teams.
6. Risk, Issue & Dependency Management
• Maintain RAID logs for all releases.
• Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans.
• Manage dependencies across integrations, customizations, and third‑party systems.
7. Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain release documentation: release notes, impact analysis, test results, sign‑offs.
• Publish weekly and monthly release dashboards for leadership.
• Track KPIs such as release success rate, defect leakage, and cycle time.

Technical & Functional Skills
• Strong understanding of Oracle Cloud Fusion:
• Financials: GL, AP, AR, FA, CM
• SCM: Procurement, PO, INV, OM
• Familiarity with:
• OIC integrations
• FBDI/HDL data loads
• OTBI/BIP reports
• Security roles & workflow approvals
• Understanding of ERP change‑ management and DevOps processes.
Professional Experience
• 8–14+ years in Oracle ERP programs.
• 4–8+ years in Oracle Cloud Fusion with release/change management responsibilities.
• Experience managing quarterly updates and multi‑ module ERP releases.
• Prior experience in large‑ scale transformation or multi‑ country rollouts preferred.
