Job Title: Senior Kinaxis RapidResponse QA Consultant Supply Chain Planning

Onsite Location: Plano, TX

Duration: Long-Term Contract

This is a niche Supply Chain QA role, not a generic QA Automation position. The ideal candidates are Kinaxis RapidResponse QA/Test Consultants or Supply Chain Planning QA Consultants who understand both planning business processes and testing methodologies.

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced QA professional with strong expertise in Kinaxis RapidResponse and Supply Chain Planning to support enterprise planning initiatives. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience validating demand, supply, inventory, and planning processes while ensuring end-to-end quality across planning solutions. This role requires strong functional knowledge of supply chain planning along with experience designing and executing comprehensive testing strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and execute functional, integration, regression, and user acceptance test scenarios for Kinaxis RapidResponse implementations.
Validate demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning, and planning control processes.
Test forecasting models, demand workflows, forecast overrides, consensus planning, and approval processes.
Validate planning logic, data models, configuration changes, and end-to-end planning cycles.
Perform testing for inventory optimization, safety stock calculations, capacity planning, material planning, and supply network planning.
Execute testing for planning simulations, exception management, and what-if analysis.
Verify planning dashboards, KPIs, analytics, and reporting supporting S&OP and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Develop test strategies, test plans, traceability matrices, and defect management processes.
Collaborate with business users, functional consultants, and technical teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous quality improvements throughout the project lifecycle.

Required Skills

Strong experience with Kinaxis RapidResponse (Maestro).
Hands-on experience testing Supply Chain Planning solutions.
Expertise in Demand Planning, Supply Planning, and Inventory Planning.
Experience with Statistical Forecasting, Consensus Planning, and Forecast Validation.
Knowledge of Safety Stock, Inventory Optimization, Capacity Planning, and Material Planning.
Strong experience with SIT, UAT, Regression Testing, and Test Strategy development.
Experience creating test cases, managing defects, and maintaining requirements traceability.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Experience with planning analytics, KPI validation, and supply chain reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with S&OP or Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
Exposure to pharmaceutical supply chain planning and regulated manufacturing environments.
Experience supporting enterprise supply chain transformation programs.
