Software Engineer (eCommerce, Payments, ISP)

Job Description:
- We’re looking for an Application Software Engineer to join our Software Development team, focusing on providing passengers with an exceptional in-flight shopping experience while allowing airlines to offer differentiating payment options.
- Our solutions require someone with versatile knowledge across multiple domains within an avionics systems environment.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and modify Payment Server application software based on Agile epics and user stories.
- Create and maintain various test applications to ensure Continuous Integration & Deployment (CI/CD) of the eCommerce solution and related software.
- Maintain developed software efficiently through solid knowledge of software lifecycles.
- Document architecture designs, including but not limited to functional block diagrams, data flow, logic flow, and sequence charts.
- Troubleshoot issues across the entire technology stack, including OS, database, backend, UI, and network, across multiple environments.
Key Skill Requirements:
- 3+ years of real-world application development experience.
- Experience with Go, JavaScript, and unit test frameworks.
- Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of OpenAPI Specification for API documentation.
- Knowledge of socket-based programming concepts.
- Experience with database technologies such as MySQL or MariaDB.
- Experience with PCI-DSS and PCI-SSF.
- Hands-on experience with scripting languages such as Bash.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, UDP, and HTTP protocols.
- Good understanding of cryptography.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines in GitLab.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Security: Understanding of secure coding best practices and payment industry security topics.
- Performance Tuning: Skills in optimizing server application performance to efficiently handle loads and reduce resource costs.
- Highly proficient in project planning while addressing external and internal dependencies across multiple functions.
- Uses professional concepts and applies company policies and procedures to resolve a variety of issues.
- Develops solutions to clearly defined problems of moderate to diverse scope.
- Analysis involves selecting the best alternative method or process from among several existing alternatives based on evaluation of identifiable factors.
- Demonstrated engineering communication expertise, including concise written and verbal communication skills.

Education / Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years of software development experience.
- Working knowledge of the Payment Processing industry (Fintech, Payment Gateways, E-Wallets) is a significant advantage.
Compensation:
Base Annual Compensation: $125,000 - $200,000
The salary range listed represents the Company’s good-faith estimate of the base compensation reasonably expected to be offered for this position at the time of posting. The actual salary offered to the selected candidate may vary based on job-related factors, including work location, market conditions, relevant experience, education and training, technical skills, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, and the results of role-specific technical evaluations conducted during the selection process. This position may also be eligible for benefits and other forms of compensation, as applicable. Compensation decisions are made in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
