System Administrator/Endpoint Engineer

Duration: 12 Months - Long Term

Hybrid Onsite: 4 Days onsite per week from Day1.

Duties and Accountabilities:

• Proven experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft Intune administration, together with working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications and services, is required to help maintain a stable and effective desktop platform.
• Experience with Windows debugging and PowerShell scripting is required; experience with C# development is desirable.
• Broad understanding of Operating Systems, their basic construct and main characteristics. In-depth Windows experience is a must.
• Strong familiarity with systems administration disciplines like capacity planning, performance analysis, troubleshooting, trend analysis, etc. in enterprise environments.
• Implementation of procedures-based solutions to support and monitor the effective operations of an element(s) of the infrastructure.
• Broad understanding of network models and protocols is a plus.
• Good understanding of Microsoft Entra ID and Active Directory administration as they relate to endpoint identity, device management, Group Policy, and sign-in processes.
• Experience with virtual/remote desktop & application platforms such as Windows 365, AVD, Citrix XenDesktop and PaloAlto SASE VPN.
• Troubleshoot escalated incidents requiring software, network, and crash-dump analysis, including Dell and Lenovo driver failures, using tools such as WinDbg in collaboration with other ITS client services teams.
• Ensure that client policies, procedures and standards are followed.
• Knowledge of automation and scripting using PowerShell, WMI, and relevant Microsoft APIs is required; experience with .NET or C# is desirable.
• Good understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, LDAP, Active Directory networking, and endpoint network security, with the ability to diagnose connectivity, authentication, and name-resolution issues.
• Document detailed incident & problem analysis for major system disruptions.

Selection Criteria:

• Bachelor s degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or a related field.
• At least five years of Windows desktop engineering or endpoint management experience, with hands-on support across several of the following:

• Windows 11 deployment, including OEM Ready-to-Provision images
• Windows debugging and automation with PowerShell or C#
• Microsoft Configuration Manager and Intune
• Microsoft 365 applications and services
• Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome
• Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, and Group Policy
• Nexthink, Splunk, or comparable event-log analytics tools

• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and prioritization skills in a multicultural environment.
• Practical and creative problem-solving ability.
• Microsoft Endpoint Management and ITIL 4 Foundation certifications are desirable.
• Experience applying ITIL and SAFe Agile practices is desirable.
• Ability to coordinate with on-site and offshore teams and support global users.
• Ability to support R&D activities and provide technical guidance on assigned projects.
• Ability to produce concise technical and user documentation.
