Job Details

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair commercial coffee machines, including bean-to-cup systems, espresso machines, single-cup brewers, batch brewers, and grinders.
• Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and water-system issues involving pumps, valves, heating elements, thermostats, sensors, motors, and tubing.
• Perform preventive maintenance, cleaning, descaling, filter replacements, and equipment adjustments.
• Install and set up equipment, verify proper operation, and explain basic use and care to customers.
• Respond to service calls, identify the cause of equipment failures, and complete repairs efficiently.
• Read service manuals, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions; use multimeters and hand tools to diagnose problems.
• Maintain accurate service records and manage replacement parts, tools, and supplies.
• Communicate repair status and equipment recommendations clearly to customers and the service team.
• Follow manufacturer procedures and safe practices when working around electricity, hot water, and pressurized systems.

Qualifications

• Previous experience repairing coffee equipment, commercial appliances, beverage equipment, vending machines, or similar electromechanical systems.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and practical electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with water lines, filtration systems, pumps, and basic plumbing connections.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize service calls, and maintain an organized work area.
• Professional communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer locations.
• Ability to safely move equipment and perform hands-on installation and repair work.

Preferred Experience

• Direct experience servicing commercial coffee or espresso equipment.
• Experience with water filtration, beverage dispensers, or cold brew systems.
• Technical training in appliance repair, electrical systems, or a related field.
