Senior Automation Engineer

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Westlake, TX that is seeking a Senior Automation Engineer.

Responsibilities:
* Work closely with the product owner and the scrum master in your agile squad to understand requirements and define acceptance criteria
* Work with developers in your squad to understand the technical implementation of the product and can understand and review their code
* Develop and maintain automation code that will be used by your squad to do regression testing
* Reproduce, debug, and isolate problems and verify fixes
* Ensuring that quality control standards are being followed by your squad

REQUIREMENTS:
* Solid experience testing brokerage industry financial applications
* Test automation experience using BDD framework built using Cucumber/Selenium
* Experience running automation in a CI/CD pipeline
* Experience working in agile Software Development Lifecycle
* Strong SQL experience - candidate must be able to write and execute complex queries
* Able to thrive in a dynamic and fluid organization where priorities shift responding to changing business needs
* Strong technical background of troubleshooting problems and identifying root cause
* Able to quickly assess and become knowledgeable about subject matter/become the subject matter expert
* You are a teammate who can work independently across local and distributed teams
* You share your knowledge and enjoy mentoring other members of the team
* You demonstrate ownership and accountability through self-directed task management
* Experience in middle tier coding using Java a plus
* Front end development using Angular, JavaScript a plus
* Backend development skills - Oracle SQL a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
