Job Title: Junior Lab Technician

Job Overview:

Requirement/Must Have:

Bachelor s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related science.
Minimum 1 year of clinical laboratory testing experience.
Ability to follow SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Proficiency with computers; familiarity with laboratory information systems is a plus.

Experience:

Experience in sample preparation and laboratory testing.
Experience working in a regulated laboratory environment.
Exposure to MS or similar analytical techniques is preferred.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and extract samples f/MS confirmation testing.
Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment.
Prepare and evaluate reagents, controls, and calibrators according to SOPs.
Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
Maintain laboratory supplies and ensure proper storage.
Ensure confidentiality of donor information and adhere to security procedures.
Follow company policies, regulatory guidelines, and safety standards.
Maintain a safe working environment and use appropriate personal protective equipment.

Should Have:

Knowledge of forensic toxicology processes and standards.
Familiarity with regulatory guidelines such as federal and CAP standards.

Skills:

Laboratory testing and sample preparation.
Equipment troubleshooting and maintenance.
Documentation and compliance.
Communication and teamwork.

Qualification and Education:

Bachelor s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Medical Technology, or related science required.
