Summary

The Opportunity

StaffRight Associates is seeking a high-caliber financial leader to spearhead the credit infrastructure and administrative governance for a premier international commercial banking institution in the Greater New York City area. As the Vice President of Credit Administration and Control, you will serve as a critical architect of risk mitigation, ensuring the integrity of complex debt instruments and security documentation. This is a high-visibility mandate where you will bridge the gap between credit policy and operational execution, driving excellence across a sophisticated wholesale lending portfolio.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing credit administration team, fostering a culture of technical precision and professional development.

  • Synthesize complex legal frameworks by reviewing non-standard facility agreements and security documents to ensure absolute alignment with authorized credit terms and regulatory mandates.

  • Architect robust risk monitoring systems to track financial covenants, collateral valuations, and insurance renewals, escalating critical exceptions to executive leadership.

  • Champion the loan agency function for syndicated deals, serving as the primary point of coordination between borrowers, participating lenders, and internal stakeholders.

  • Drive operational transformation by identifying process inefficiencies and implementing modern service models that enhance speed and accuracy in credit delivery.

  • Execute comprehensive risk and control self-assessments (RCSA) to maintain a rigorous internal audit trail and uphold the highest standards of institutional compliance.

  • Manage the integrity of the collateral management database and oversee the secure physical custody of vital legal instruments.

What You Bring

  • Educational Excellence: A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related quantitative field.

  • Industry Tenure: 10 to 15 years of deep-rooted experience in credit administration or loan agency operations within a corporate or wholesale banking environment.

  • Leadership Pedigree: A proven history of managing specialized teams and navigating the complexities of large-scale credit lending portfolios.

  • Technical Mastery: Advanced proficiency in real estate, construction, and project finance, alongside a forensic understanding of syndicated loan mechanics.

  • Analytical Rigor: Exceptional problem-solving skills with a meticulous eye for detail regarding documentation perfection and credit risk indicators.

  • Agility: The capacity to thrive in high-pressure environments, managing multiple strategic initiatives while adhering to strict institutional deadlines.
